Contract Photographer – SHRM Event
Overview
We are seeking an experienced contract photographer to support on-site coverage at the SHRM Annual Conference. This role will focus on capturing high-quality, brand-aligned content that highlights our presence, team, and executive engagement throughout the event.
Scope of Work
Provide on-site photography coverage during the SHRM event (dates: June 17 & 18th)
Capture a mix of candid, posed, and environmental shots, including:
Booth presence and attendee interactions
Executive and team moments
Product or demo engagement
Networking and key event highlights
Ensure imagery aligns with brand standards and reflects a professional, authentic tone
Deliverables
Edited, high-resolution images suitable for web, social, and PR use
A curated selection of highlight images delivered within 24–48 hours for immediate use
Full gallery delivered within 5–7 business days post-event
Basic retouching and color correction included
Requirements
Proven experience in event, corporate, or brand photography
Strong portfolio demonstrating candid and executive-style imagery
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and capture key moments proactively
Professional presence and ability to interact comfortably with executives and attendees
Usage & Rights
All final images to be licensed for full usage across marketing, PR, social, and internal communications
Photographer agrees to provide usage rights without restriction for company use
Logistics
Location: SHRM Annual Conference, Orlando, Florida
Dates/Hours: June 17 & 19th - 9 AM to 2 PM (10 hours total)
Equipment: Photographer must provide their own professional-grade equipment
Transportation: The photographer is responsible for their own travel to and from the event. Software Finder will reimburse parking fees incurred during the event with receipt submission
Compensation: Contract-based or hourly
Nice to Have
Experience covering trade shows or large-scale conferences
Familiarity with capturing content optimized for LinkedIn and executive branding
