Copy Editor (Insurance Industry) | $80/hr

Job Overview:

PWR Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Copy Editor to support our client's RFP team in delivering high-quality, client-ready proposal documents. This role focuses on editing complex content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency while ensuring strict adherence to corporate branding standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the insurance industry and experience working with large-scale proposal or RFP documents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and proofread proposal documents for grammar, clarity, tone, and consistency.
• Ensure all materials align with corporate branding and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with proposal managers, subject matter experts, and sales teams.
• Review and enhance existing proposal content for effectiveness and quality.
• Track editorial progress and support workflow efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of copy editing or proposal editing experience required
• Working in copy editing within the insurance industry is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with RFP processes and proposal development.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Details:
Work with very large documents (400 plus pages)
Document must be cohesive, concise, one identity

Pay: $79.00 - $80.00 per hour
