Copy Editor Needed – Steamy Contemporary Romance (Ongoing Work)
Hello,
I’m looking for an experienced copy editor/proofreader with a strong background in steamy contemporary romance for ongoing work.
Projects involve full-length romance manuscripts and must be edited in Microsoft Word using Track Changes, following the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). Please only apply if you are confident working within CMOS guidelines.
The ideal candidate:
Has experience editing romance (especially steamy/contemporary)
Understands tone, pacing, and emotional flow in romance scenes
Communicates clearly and responds quickly
Can handle occasional short-notice turnarounds
