- Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions from start to finish (“soup to nuts”)
- Advise emerging companies on acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary documents
- Coordinate due diligence and manage deal timelines
- Support venture financings and general corporate matters as needed
- Work directly with founders, executives, and boards
- Key Qualifications
- 4–6 years of corporate and M&A experience
- JD from a top-tier law school
- Experience at top law firms
- Meaningful exposure to venture-backed M&A transactions
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Strong judgment, responsiveness, and comfort in fast-moving environments
- Work Structure & Hours
- ~2/3 billable, ~1/3 non-billable
- Typical workweek: 40–45 hours
- Target billables: 1,800–2,000 (flexibility available)
- Protected nights and weekends
