Overview
A fully-remote health care revenue cycle management (RCM) technology company is looking to add a dynamic and detail-oriented Counsel, Legal & Compliance to join its legal team, to help navigate the complex landscape of legal regulations and compliance standards across diverse practice areas. This role joins an existing, experienced team that is looking to expand its support of a fast-moving company that does business across the country and has a workforce distributed across the United States.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in commercial contracting, working on contracts (customer, vendor-side, or both) while working for a healthcare / hospital system or on the vendor side in a healthcare environment (ideally, a vendor that is in the health technology space).

    Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the General Counsel and Sr Counsel, Legal & Compliance to provide comprehensive legal advice across various practice areas, with a primary focus on commercial contracts in a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and compliance initiatives.
  • Draft clear, precise legal documents including contracts, policies, and memoranda.
  • Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the organizationโ€™s operations and advise on necessary adjustments to policies or procedures.
    About You
  • Graduate from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Proven experience practicing law with a focus on commercial contracting in a healthcare environment, preferably in a health system or in a health technology vendor that does business with health systems - demonstrated work experience supporting with AI products is an added bonus
  • Demonstrated work experience with HIPAA
  • Strong legal research skills
  • Demonstrated ability to draft comprehensive legal documents with clarity and precision
