Role Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Credit Controller & Bookkeeper to support the clinicβs financial operations. This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records, managing income and collections, and providing clear financial insight to support decision-making. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping and credit control activities, liaise with patients and insurance providers, and play an active role in income forecasting and financial monitoring. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Administration β Processing day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, expenses and payments β Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records β Reconciling accounts and financial statements β Using Pabau (our clinic system) to ensure accurate financial reporting Credit Control & Billing β Raising patient and insurance invoices accurately and promptly β Managing and running an efficient credit control and collections process β Liaising with patients and insurance companies regarding billing, payments and overdue balances, with empathy and professionalism β Setting up and maintaining automated payment systems Forecasting & Financial Monitoring β Preparing weekly income forecasts β Carrying out daily forecast vs actual variance analysis, identifying and communicating discrepancies β Supporting budgeting and cashflow monitoring β Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for management Skills & Experience Essential β Experience in a bookkeeping, finance assistant or credit control role β Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy β Confidence working independently and managing workload effectively β Good communication skills, particularly when handling sensitive payment conversations Desirable β AAT (Level 3+) / ICB qualification or qualified by experience β Experience in healthcare finance, including billing and insurance processes (e.g. Healthcodes, CSSD) β Experience using Pabau or other clinic systems β Strong Excel skills Why Join Us? β Competitive hourly rate β Flexible, remote working β Supportive and collaborative team environment β Opportunity to contribute to a clinic that makes a meaningful difference to patientsβ lives Job Type: Part-time, Permanent Hours: 20 hours per week Pay: Β£20 per hour (depending on experience If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for finance and possess the required qualifications, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Credit Controller Please submit a CV and covering letter to the email address below.
