About the position
- Responsibilities
- Provide on-call crisis intervention and assessment for individuals in need.
- Respond to crisis calls within a 30-minute driving distance to Oak Park and River Forest, IL.
- Engage with clients in crisis, offering essential support and intervention.
- Collaborate with a team of clinicians and community partners to ensure effective crisis response.
- Participate in virtual paid training and professional development opportunities.
- Requirements
- Master's degree in Forensic Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work, or actively pursuing LPC/LSW licensure.
- Targeted experience in Forensic Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
- Experience performing mental health risk assessments and de-escalating individuals in crisis.
- Familiarity with DCFS and comfortable working alongside law enforcement and emergency responders.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

- Real world knowledge and skills in mental health crisis intervention.
