As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will be part of a talented team that shares our passion for delivering exceptional experiences and driving business growth. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will be responsible for: * Providing a friendly greeting to all customers upon entering the store or on the phone, setting the tone for a positive experience * Getting to know customers, learning, and using their names to build rapport and personalize interactions * Going out of your way to make customers feel important and valued, exceeding their expectations and building loyalty * Moving quickly to provide fast yet friendly service, ensuring that customers receive prompt assistance and attention * Helping customers buy by pointing out promotional items and suggestive selling when appropriate, driving sales and revenue growth * Thanking customers for their business and inviting them back, fostering a sense of community and loyalty * Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety * Performing various tasks, including cleaning and housekeeping, merchandising, and inventory control, to ensure a seamless customer experience * Adhering to policies on age-restricted product sales, inventory control, and cash handling procedures * Maintaining a safe environment, reporting maintenance issues to management, and adhering to emergency procedures * Attending store meetings and staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures **Cleaning & Housekeeping Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including: * Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including floors, toilets, sinks, mirrors, walls, and ceilings * Stocking soap, towels, and toilet paper * Emptying and cleaning trash cans, ensuring they are free of odors and debris * Sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, spills, and stains * Cleaning coolers, including doors and shelves, to ensure a clean and safe environment * Sweeping and cleaning rugs, removing trash and debris * Cleaning and organizing the transaction counter, removing items not for sale * Dusting and cleaning shelves, ensuring they are free of dust and debris * Cleaning and organizing the food service area, including equipment and prep areas * Maintaining a neat and organized back office and cooler * Cleaning and organizing the coffee and fountain area, ensuring it is free of spills and trash * Cleaning and dusting merchandise, ensuring it is free of dust and debris **Merchandising Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will be responsible for: * Stocking, facing, and merchandising all merchandise, ensuring it is visually appealing and easy to find * Bagging ice and ensuring all merchandised items are priced correctly * Stocking fountain, cooler, and freezer items, including condiments * Brewing coffee and checking for out-of-date merchandise * Moving and building displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and easy to navigate * Maintaining a clean and organized sales counter, including proper cigarette displays and product pricing **Accounting/Legal Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will be responsible for: * Adhering to cash and credit card procedures, including cash drops and safe operations * Performing basic math computations to count back change * Adhering to policies on age-restricted product sales * Observing and reacting to shoplifters and gas theft, ensuring a safe and secure environment **Miscellaneous Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will be responsible for: * Checking in vendors and maintaining a safe environment, including gas spills, emergency stops, slips, falls, and lifting procedures * Attending store meetings and staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures * Logging and reporting maintenance issues to management immediately **Position Requirements** To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Park Place, you will need: * Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for up to eight hours * Ability to work in a cooler at a temperature of 32 degrees * Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 45 pounds * Basic math skills and ability to count back change * Ability to speak, read, and write English and communicate with customers in English * Ability to climb a two to five foot ladder and maintain balance to clean windows and stock and arrange coolers and shelves * Ability to react to a fire by lifting a fire extinguisher weighing 10 pounds and moving it to the fire area **Equal Opportunity Employer** arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
