Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to our Medicare members. As a key member of our team, you'll educate plan benefits, answer questions, and resolve issues with empathy and patience. Your adaptability, kindness, and respect will make a positive impact on our members' lives. This is a permanent work-from-home opportunity, available to candidates in the PST/CST/MST time zones, with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and member-centric service to Medicare members via telephone
- Educate plan benefits, answer questions, and resolve issues in a compliant and professional manner
- Utilize basic computer, typing, and telephony skills to document interactions and manage workflow
- Ensure that every member is shown respect, kindness, and receives thorough answers to their questions
- Exceed member expectations and strive for excellence in every interaction
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to be empathetic and compassionate
- Ability to apply patience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
- Or, equivalent military experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience in a healthcare or related field
What We Offer
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay range: $17.00 - $27.16 per hour
- $1000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates
- Additional $2000 retention bonus 180 days after start date (excludes current internal employees of CVS or Aetna)
