Data engineer with Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Engineer

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Engineer to modernize and support our analytics and reporting platform. This role is hands-on and focused on building, migrating, and optimizing BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and build analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Develop data pipelines, semantic models, and dashboards end to end
- Migrate and modernize existing Power BI assets to Microsoft Fabric
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Ensure best practices for performance, security, governance, and workspace management
- Automate data refresh, deployment, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and optimize BI and analytics performance
- Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics development
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure data platforms (Data Lake, Synapse)
- Solid understanding of modern data architectures (e.g., Lakehouse)
- Strong SQL skills; Python experience is a plus
- Experience integrating data from source systems (ERP, CRM, APIs)
- Ability to work with both technical and business teams

- Experience with data governance and security
- CI/CD or DevOps experience for BI solutions
- Prior experience leading analytics modernization or migration projects
