Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in our systems. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with strong typing skills, basic computer knowledge, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer databases or spreadsheets.
- Verify data accuracy and correct errors as needed.
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Review and organize documents before data entry.
- Generate routine reports and assist with data audits.
- Secure information by completing data backups.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies regarding data handling.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Proven experience in data entry or similar clerical role is a plus, but not required.
- Fast typing skills (35ā50+ WPM preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
