Join arenaflex – Where Data Meets Impact

arenaflex is a leading national infrastructure engineering and specialty contractor that powers the wireless, broadband, and telecommunications markets across North America. Our mission is to design, build, and sustain the communications backbone that connects millions of people every day. As the industry continues to accelerate, the need for meticulous, reliable data handling has never been more critical. If you thrive on transforming raw information into actionable insights and enjoy supporting a fast‑moving team, the Data Entry Clerk role in vibrant Miami, FL could be your next career breakthrough.

Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of arenaflex’s operations—from scheduling field technicians to managing client contracts and tracking project milestones. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be the guardian of that data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility across multiple departments. Your work will directly influence service delivery, client satisfaction, and the overall efficiency of our engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and regularly update master spreadsheets and internal databases to reflect current customer information, work orders, and project status.

  • Transfer data from client‑provided databases into arenaflex’s internal systems, guaranteeing fidelity and completeness.

  • Verify and cleanse outdated or duplicate records, applying standard operating procedures for data quality assurance.

  • Organize and reconcile data across spreadsheets, client portals, and internal platforms, providing a single source of truth for stakeholders.

  • Perform routine database backups and collaborate with IT to ensure data security and recovery protocols are followed.

  • Input both text‑based and numerical information from a variety of source documents, including invoices, service tickets, and engineering reports.

  • Provide ad‑hoc administrative support, such as preparing reports, drafting emails, and coordinating with field teams.

  • Sort, file, and archive hard‑copy paperwork after electronic entry, maintaining an orderly records management system.

  • Review entered data for inconsistencies or errors, and correct them before they propagate through downstream processes.

  • Assist with special projects that demand large‑scale data entry, such as system migrations or quarterly performance reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including scheduling, finance, and client services—to deliver timely data support on an as‑needed basis.

  • Operate common office equipment (computers, scanners, printers) efficiently and troubleshoot minor technical issues.

  • Continuously suggest process improvements to reduce manual entry time and increase data accuracy.

  • Other duties as assigned that support the overall mission of arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in business administration, information systems, or related field is a plus.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation) and Outlook.

  • Comfortable navigating a Windows‑based computing environment and learning new software platforms quickly.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast‑paced setting.

  • Strong attention to detail, with an inherent quality‑control mindset that catches errors before they affect downstream workflows.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey information clearly to team members and supervisors.

  • Interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration both independently and as part of a team.

  • Eligibility to pass a standard drug screening and criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Prior experience in a data‑entry or administrative role within telecommunications, construction, or a similar highly regulated industry.

  • Familiarity with database management tools (e.g., SQL, Access) and data import/export processes.

  • Experience with document management systems or cloud‑based collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Google Workspace).

  • Basic understanding of industry‑specific terminology related to wireless and broadband infrastructure.

  • Certification in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or similar credentials.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Accuracy & Precision: Ability to enter data with minimal errors and conduct thorough reviews.

  • Time Management: Efficiently handle a high volume of entries while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Problem Solving: Identify inconsistencies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift frequently.

  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive client and company information with discretion.
