- *Job Description**
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for assisting our Account Managers in providing the best possible customer experience. Your primary duties will include:
- Maintaining confidentiality with all information provided
- Following all safety rules and policies and reporting any safety issues
- Providing quality service, maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor, and exhibiting professionalism and a strong work ethic
- Working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and possessing strong organizational and communication skills
- Possessing a thorough understanding of the terminals' operating capabilities and processes
- Adjusting to changing operating conditions and working with a team
- Developing and maintaining clear communications with each Account Manager and Vessel Manager to understand their needs, directions, and special requirements
- Entering Customer Releases, Inbounds, Uploads into TOS following Account Services Processes and customer-specific requirements
- Ensuring all inbounds and releases are entered in a timely fashion following First In First Out except for any HOT request
- Verifying entered Customer and Account Data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
- Updating Data Entry Log real-time for all tasks completed throughout the day
- Assisting Account Managers by reviewing Open Shipping Container Report and pulling documentation to close any open containers
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Familiarity with TOS (Transportation Operations System) or similar software
- Certification in data entry or a related field
