Job Description
Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily for the offshore energy industry. The Data Management Analyst will support OTECH programs by managing data activities, maintaining asset databases, and ensuring timely delivery of program documents while promoting documentation standards and consistency. Responsibilities Responsible for data management activities Create and maintain program data library asset databases Ensure timely and accurate release of deliverables and program documents Coordinate with document authors and project managers to ensure deadlines and special handling requirements are met for on-time quality delivery Provide education on naming conventions and document format standards Promote consistency in naming conventions and documentation standards across multiple projects Identify and correct usage errors and edit deliverables for grammar, spelling, and formatting consistency Conduct all aspects of documentation management and data management for multiple projects Review and report on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness Collaborate with team members and contribute to upgrading standards and best practice guidelines Develop and implement review cycle plans, ensuring proper marking of classified documents according to required standards Additional duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or an equivalent field 0-2 years of practical experience in Data Management Familiar with data management principles Organizational and problem-solving skills Knowledge and experience in managing documentation libraries Working knowledge of SharePoint Administration Working knowledge of MS Office applications and database management Skilled in time management, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, written comprehension, information ordering, active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning Ability to write business correspondence and interact with others in a professional manner U.S.
