This role is ideal for someone who thrives in understanding architecture, data lineage and mapping to identify data gaps.
- Responsibilities
- Evaluate and interpret existing data structures to ensure optimal performance and alignment with industry standards in the banking and financial services domain.
- Understanding of Data architecture, data lineage and mapping to identify data gaps
- Build controls based on the gaps identified
- Design and implement robust data models that support the integration and functionality of various applications and analytics platforms.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using ETL processes tailored for AWS and Databricks environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data architecture solutions that meet the strategic needs of the business.
- Implement and manage SQL modeling techniques to enhance data retrieval and analysis.
- Leverage knowledge of visualization tools to aid in data interpretation and decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in database management and data integration.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Modeler , specifically within the banking and financial services sector.
- Expertise in ETL processes and SQL database modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years' experience as a Data Modeler & Architect
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services is a must
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience in building Dashboards is a plus
- Experience in Recon tools is a plus
