The Counsel for Data Protection will provide expert guidance on data privacy and security matters to various team members and cross-functional business partners, including IT, Security, Procurement, HR, Marketing, Product, and Engineering. This role involves utilizing extensive experience to enhance and execute the global data protection program, which encompasses privacy policies, employee training, policy enforcement, monitoring, auditing, and incident response.
In addition, the Counsel will offer pragmatic legal advice to internal clients and external customers regarding legal risks and obligations under data privacy and security laws and regulations such as CPRA, GDPR, and HIPAA.
