What we're looking for
Momentive Together (Momentive's Diversity/Social Impact Team) is seeking a Communications Program Manager to drive worldwide communications planning and execution for the Office of the Chief Diversity and Social Impact Officer. You will report directly to the Chief Diversity and Social Impact Officer. You will act as the communication lead for the Momentive Together team to ensure Executive Comms plans, roadmaps, and messaging are aligned with Corporate Communications, Diversity, Social Impact, and Public Policy programmatic Comms plans — both internally and externally.
You will oversee Momentive's responses to key DEI and Social Impact external landscape issues that arise throughout the year. You'll work in direct partnership with the leaders of Public Policy and Corporate Communications to address any key messages. You will have responsibility for managing our external messaging rubric that helps the organization determine its path forward for DEI and Social Impact messaging. You will also work with our Employee Resources Groups (ERGs) and Diversity Impact and Inclusion Groups (DIIGs) on their messaging for their actions and awareness months.
- You will
- Plan, project-manage, write and edit communications coming from the Chief Diversity and Social Impact Officer, including all messaging (internal and external) for presentations, emails, videos, and other communications on behalf of Momentive Together team.
- Consult and advise Momentive Together team members on communications and work with key partners to deliver program objectives, map and engage with key partners to develop the horizon of potential incidents, and build trust.
- Maintain and review the list of potential activities/incidents that may trigger the need for a response, determine response recommendations, analyze incidents over time, and maintain incident logs of reviewed and projected incidents.
- Manage relationships with external creative vendors contracted to execute external executive communications, driving alignment and approvals
- Ensure key comms metrics are set and performance data collected, understood, and acted upon appropriately.
- You have
- 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Experience planning for, project managing, and executing crisis communications in rapidly evolving situations
- Experience working with marginalized communities
- Experience planning multi-channel communications, including the ability to write program and project briefs, create comms timelines and milestones, and bring stakeholders along with timely updates
- Experience in strategic planning in anticipating issues in the DEI and Social Impact environment that could impact operations and employees' experience
