Delivery Operations Manager (Draft) Role Summary The Delivery Operations Manager is a senior individual contributor role accountable for end-to-end delivery leadership coordination across global, cross-functional teams to deliver and scale complex products that combine software, hardware, and operational enablement. The role establishes the delivery framework (governance, integrated plans, dependencies, risks, and decision cadence), aligns senior stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs, and drives execution predictability from development through rollout and operational readiness. This position is expected to be highly impactful over the next 18 months, with scope likely evolving into a steady-state portfolio and operational governance cadence thereafter. Location & Language Requirements: This Jobholder can be based in Italy, Spain or Hungary, applicants must be fluent in English and Local Language, reside within reasonable proximity to an international transport hub , and demonstrate the technical skills and experience required to effectively fulfil the role . Occasional travel may be required Key Objectives (First 18 Months) Establish strong cross-business alignment on priorities, sequencing, and dependencies for complex product delivery and rollout. Create a reliable operating rhythm that supports decision-making, escalation, and issue resolution across global stakeholders. Improve predictability and transparency across delivery milestones, readiness gates, and adoption activities. Build stakeholder confidence through clear communication, structured governance, and proactive risk management. Core Responsibilities Program Governance, Planning & Integrated Delivery From a complex product perspective within Global CS Operations , o wn the integrated end-to-end program plan coordination with all stakeholders ; ensure scope, milestones, and critical path are explicit and maintained . Design and lead governance forums (steerco, working groups, executive readouts) with clear decision rights, inputs/outputs, action tracking, and follow-through to closure . Manage cross-workstream dependencies across software, hardware, and operational enablement; surface gaps early, structure options, and broker agreements that protect delivery outcomes. This role owns the global slot pla n framework end-to-end across regions and functions . The role allocates slots/capacity to stakeholders , but does not allocate named resources . W orks with regional installation leaders who retain accountability for assigning people locally. Further enhance slot planning transparency by establishing a single source of truth for available slots and dates, publishing forward-looking capacity views, and ensuring all stakeholders have timely visibility into constraints, changes, and confirmed commitments. Senior Stakeholder Leadership, Alignment & Decision Facilitation Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders (including executive leadership), framing ambiguity into clear choices, recommendations, and decisions. Lead trade-off discussions across competing business priorities (scope, timeline, cost, quality, risk), document decisions, and drive execution against agreed commitments. Build and leverage a global stakeholder network to unblock execution, accelerate alignment, and ensure regional needs are represented in program decisions. Readiness Management, Risk & Issue Leadership Define and drive readiness across product, process, tools, training, and support; establish measurable “go/no-go” criteria and ensure readiness gates are met ahead of rollout. Own the RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions) system for the program; escalate early with impact analysis and recommended options. Coordinate operational risk response planning (incident readiness, recovery, and communications) where product complexity increases customer and business impact. Executive Communication & Change Enablement Develop clear, consistent, and decision-oriented communications for audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership. Lead change enablement planning (stakeholder engagement, training coordination, readiness communications, and adoption measurement) to drive successful rollout and sustained use. Create high-quality executive materials (status, key risks, decisions required , and forward plan) with a focus on clarity, implications, and recommended actions. Skills & Experience 10 + years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs for products spanning software, hardware, and/or multiple technical domains, including global rollout and operationalization Experience of working in a senior management position Advanced program/project management expertise : integrated planning, dependency and critical-path management, governance and decision design, RAID leadership, benefits tracking, and disciplined execution/closeout. Strong executive presence and storytelling: able to communicate succinctly, influence without authority, and manage sensitive stakeholder dynamics in high-visibility programs. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve competing priorities across business lines and functions. Comfort operating in ambiguity and structuring complex problem spaces into executable workstreams, clear ownership, and measurable outcomes—without adding unnecessary bureaucracy. Strong interpersonal skills with evidence of an existing network across relevant functions and geographies.
