Job Description
Purpose: Record a screen-share session showing real dental billing workflows in your PMS using mock data—specifically claim editing before submission and denial management. What You'll Show: PRE-SUBMISSION WORKFLOW - Start with a completed treatment case (e.g., crown, filling) in your PMS - Run eligibility/benefits check (coverage, deductible, copay, plan limits) - Build/review the claim: populate or correct claim data (patient info, codes, fees, tooth numbers, descriptions) - Highlight manual edits you make (fee corrections, missing tooth numbers, narrative updates) - Show validation checks/warnings the system generates - Attach documents if needed - Walk through final review screens before submission - Show submission process (batching, clearinghouse, confirmations) DENIAL MANAGEMENT WORKFLOW - Receive and process an ERA in the PMS (show how denials appear) - Analyze denial reason (bundling?
Missing docs? Pre-auth? Code not covered?) - Correct and resubmit if possible - Mark non-correctable denials for patient billing Data: No real patient information needed. Use test/sandbox environment or realistic mock data (e.g., "John Doe, DOB 01/15/1985, Policy #ABC123456"). We want authentic workflow demonstration with zero confidential data. Required
Experience: - Current or recent (last 2 years) dental billing specialist/biller role - Daily hands-on use of: Curve Dental, Oryx Dental, Dentrix Ascend, or CareStack (preferred) - U.S.
dental insurance claims experience (CDT codes, denials, pre-auth) - Comfortable explaining workflows clearly on screen-share Deliverables: - 1–3 screen-share sessions (30–90 minutes each) via bolthires meet or zoom (we record) - At least one complete claim cycle demo + one denial workflow demo - MUST share in screen share review: one of the above mentioned Practice management solutions - Optional: brief notes on key decision points Timeline: ASAP, flexible scheduling Apply tot his job
