The Design Consultant – Architectural Controls will work on design approvals for various projects and administer them on the Archcontrol.com web platform, ensuring compliance with design guidelines and standards. Responsibilities Creation of Design Guidelines including maps, and house style graphics Reviewing of house applications in relation to the guidelines and standards of the development within a web-based platform Correspondence with builders and some homeowners Physical site inspections on the exterior of homes (homes and landscapes) Prepare inspection reports Get involved in other projects in the office on an as-required basis Skills Diploma in Architectural Technology or Landscape Architectural Technology or a related discipline – related industry experience would be considered Strong interest in house design and land development Experience with house exterior design would be an asset Good design sense with creative problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail Strong computer skills in MS office, Adobe, etc. and web-based applications – proficiency in CAD is an asset, but not essential Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills and interest in dealing with a diverse range of clients, including homebuilders and homeowners Good organizational and time management skills Company Overview Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.
