DevSecOps Engineer Remote (onsite 4 to 5 times per quarter - Tysons Corner, VA Or Washington, DC) Long Term Phone + Zoom JD: Clerance: Yes Do not need one to start. Will obtain a Public Trust after joining
Notes: Looking for CI/CD Pipeline experience, Azure GovCloud & AWS Govcloud Experience, Terraform & Ansible experience.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins (legacy environments).
- Support cloud infrastructure and services across Azure GovCloud and AWS GovCloud.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes across secure environments.
- Integrate and maintain enterprise security and identity technologies including Duo and SailPoint.
- Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using:
- Splunk

- Prometheus
- Grafana
- * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and reliability standards.
- Provide rapid engineering support to emergent or evolving mission requirements.
- Maintain a consistent, constructive, and mission-aligned approach when supporting sensitive, time-critical federal efforts.
- Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on DevSecOps engineering experience.
- Experience operating in Azure GovCloud, AWS GovCloud, or both.
- Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD, with familiarity in Jenkins for legacy pipeline maintenance.
- Strong expertise in: Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Nexus (artifact management)
- Operational familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms (Splunk, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience supporting secure, regulated, or high-assurance IT environments.
- Ability to work within a mission-driven organization where project priorities align with federal leadership and agency-level goals.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in federal civilian or national-level programs.
- Background supporting 24/7/365 or high-availability environments.
- Exposure to Zero Trust architectures or identity-centric security patterns.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple concurrent priorities.
