About the position
- Responsibilities
- Coordinates and executes an editorial calendar for multiple social media accounts on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Collaborates with staff across job functions and geographies to ensure social media presence aligns with organizational priorities and values.
- Tracks and reports metrics and trends relevant to social media accounts and web pages.
- Makes recommendations for iterating social media approaches to best reach target audiences and advance conservation goals.
- Produces digital content for web and email as needed.
- Manages digital and photo archive.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience cultivating and managing client/customer relationships.
- Experience writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects.
- Nice-to-haves
- Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
- Experience in marketing to diverse audiences.
- Experience creating and posting social media content on behalf of an organization.
- Experience managing multiple social media accounts.
- Experience producing web pages and e-mail newsletters.
- Solid knowledge of best practices for social media metrics reporting.
- Experience with social media scheduling software (e.g. Khoros).
- Experience with design software (e.g. Canva) as well as photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe CS).
- Experience with email software such as MailChimp.
- Experience with web production and content management systems (e.g., AEM).
- Proven enthusiasm for developing knowledge of social media trends and evolving platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
