NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. The Digital Sales Marketing Planner will support the Digital Account Managers and sales team by taking ownership of digital and linear reporting and creating custom marketing solutions for NBCU Local Chicagoโ€™s sellers and advertisers.


Responsibilities

  • Create client facing slide decks for cross-platform sales opportunities and initiatives, and end of campaign recaps
  • Own reporting for digital and linear sales campaigns
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of NBCU products to be able to make recommendations to AEs and clients
  • Work with all internal departments (Digital, Sales, Traffic, Marketing, Management, etc.) on cross functional projects
  • Ensure sponsorship elements are clearly laid out in an organized and professional way
  • Execute digital sweepstakes, social amplification campaigns and other custom content
  • Work with content teams to stay up to date on their initiatives and make sales recommendations

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong computer skills especially in Power Point, Excel, and Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
  • High energy and teamwork mentality a must

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Sales Media Industry experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience at a media company in media sales or experience in a client service role
  • Knowledge of Wide Orbit and Sales Force
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with broad range of internal and external clients
  • A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment
