Role Description
This is a full-time and remote role for a Director of Facilities Services. The Director will oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities, manage facility-related budgets, and implement preventive maintenance programs. This role includes supervising staff and contractors, developing strategies for facility improvements, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and optimizing the use of resources to create a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment.
Qualifications
Experience in Facilities Operations, Facility Management (FM), and Preventive Maintenance
Strong Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead and manage a diverse team
Proven expertise in Budgeting and resource allocation
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with facility management software and systems is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Relevant certifications such as FMP (Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager) are an advantage
