About the position
- Responsibilities
- Leading the team in charge of monthly variance analysis preparation.
- Working closely with operations to develop high-quality communication of actual results and forecasts.
- Managing three direct reports, including General Accounting, Financial Reporting/Property, and Budget/AFE/Special Projects.
- Requirements
- Upstream Oil and Gas experience is a must; other industries will not be considered for this role.
- 8 plus years of accounting experience from exploration and production accounting experience.
- CPA is a plus.
- Prior Public Accounting experience.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge in general accounting and internal reporting.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
