We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Director of Data Science, New Initiatives to join our team at Dropbox. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of our new initiatives in data science and analytics, and to drive innovation in this area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, and software engineering, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. You should also have a strong understanding of cloud computing, databases, and machine learning algorithms. In addition, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically.The successful candidate will be an innovative leader who is able to think outside the box and develop creative solutions to complex problems. They must be able to work collaboratively with teams across the organization and have a proven track record of developing and launching successful data science initiatives.
