- Dojo Tutor connects kids with experienced, caring tutors for 1-to-1 online classes in reading, writing and math. As a tutor, you’ll have the opportunity to work with pre-K through 9th grade students in online, engaging sessions. We handle scheduling, payments, and family matching—so you can focus on what you do best: teaching.
- Pay: $20/hour (paid as $10 per 25-minute class)
- Format: 1-to-1, online via Zoom
- Commitment: At least 5 hours/week on a consistent schedule

- What you’ll do
- Lead fun, focused math and/or reading classes
- Personalize instruction to meet each student’s needs
- Help kids build confidence and a love for learning
- Share progress and feedback with families
- Support new families in booking a subscription after their class
- What you’ll need
- Experience helping kids with math and/or reading using current teaching methods—like Common Core, phonics, and number sense strategies
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills
- A quiet, reliable setup for video calls
- A passion for helping kids thrive
