Job Description
I run a convenience store with an espresso bar and prepared food counter in downtown Toronto.
We sell:
espresso drinks
sandwiches
salads
hot meals (some prepared fresh, some heated from frozen)
packaged convenience items
We are already listed on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and SkipTheDishes, but the menus and platform configuration need to be properly optimized.
I am looking for someone with real experience with food delivery platforms, not just someone who uploads menu items.
Scope of Work
1. Menu Optimization
Improve and restructure our delivery menus across:
DoorDash
Uber Eats
SkipTheDishes
Tasks include:
category structure
menu layout
modifiers and add-ons
combo meals
upsell strategy
improving product names and descriptions
The goal is to increase conversion and average order value.
2. DoorDash Online Ordering
We want to implement DoorDash Online Ordering directly on our website.
Tasks include:
configuration
menu sync
testing ordering flow
optimizing checkout experience
I prefer to keep the system simple and native, without adding unnecessary third-party subscription tools.
3. Advertising Setup
Configure and optimize advertising within the platforms:
DoorDash Ads
Uber Eats Ads
promotional campaigns
You should understand:
how platform ranking works
margin vs commission
how to increase visibility inside the apps
Ideal Candidate
Experience with:
DoorDash merchant platform
Uber Eats merchant platform
SkipTheDishes
restaurant or coffee shop menus
delivery platform advertising
Experience with coffee shops, small restaurants, or convenience stores is a strong plus.
Deliverables
By the end of the project I expect:
fully optimized menus on all platforms
proper modifiers and upsells configured
DoorDash Online Ordering working correctly
advertising campaigns properly configured
recommendations to increase order volume
