Remote DRG Auditor

HealthCare Support is actively seeking an experienced Remote DRG Auditor to join a leading payment integrity organization supporting healthcare systems nationwide. This organization is known for its strong compliance standards and data-driven approach to accurate, ethical reimbursement. In this role, you’ll review inpatient DRGs and coding for medical necessity and accuracy across hospitals throughout the U.S. — all from the comfort of home.

$85,000 to $105,000 per year

Fully remote (any U.S. time zone)
Monday–Friday
Daytime hours, multiple shifts available

Review and audit medical records to validate ICD-10, PCS, and DRG coding, ensure accurate reimbursement, and support appeals, quality control, and payer compliance
Work independently while collaborating with internal teams, maintaining HIPAA compliance, clear communication, and strong computer and multitasking skills to support overall audit operations

Medical (HDHP) with pharmacy, dental, and vision
HSA and FSA options

Proven DRG validation experience for inpatient stays, with Medicare/CMS knowledge
Proficiency with encoders and groupers
One of the following active credentials: RN, LPN/LVN, CCS, or CIC
