In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and
Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and
disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

In this role, you will:
Create and review schematic and footprint symbols representing electronic components to be used on a printed circuit board
Ensure new and updated symbols conform to company guidelines
Maintain ECAD library for updated guidelines and resolve issues in response to feedback received from engineering & designers
Update company guidelines with new rules established by library team, designers, operations, and other disciplines

    Responsibilities

  • Update company guidelines with new rules established by library team, designers, operations, and other disciplines
    Requirements
  • Experience working in an engineering and/or technical environment, with an interdisciplinary team (electrical, mechanical, operations) to arrive at an agreed solution
  • Ability to develop and maintain ECAD libraries
  • Detail oriented with ability to identify inconsistencies of significance
  • Skilled in research, both online and within internal tools
  • Demonstrably strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing design and program needs, guidelines and process
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to self-improvement
  • Passion for quality
    Nice-to-haves
  • 4+ years experience developing and maintaining ECAD libraries
  • Engineering Degree or Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Cadence SPB software package version 17.4 or newer, including PCB Editor, Design Entry HDL and System Capture
  • Knowledgeable in IPC-7351
  • Knowledgeable in IPC-2221
  • Experience with version control tools and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for the release and update of designs and data
