Job Description

We are looking for a hungry, entrepreneurial, and results-obsessed Ecommerce Growth Leader to own and scale our B2C marketplace business across eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Poshmark, and emerging platforms. This is a true ownership role—not a traditional manager position. You will act as the business owner of your marketplaces, with full accountability for GMV, revenue growth, margin, and performance outcomes, while leveraging offshore teams for execution. This role is built for someone who thrives in a high-performance, accountability-driven environment and is motivated by winning, scaling, and driving measurable results. You will manage a large-scale, multi-million SKU catalog, continuously identifying opportunities to increase sales velocity, optimize pricing, and outperform competitors. We operate on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) / Traction framework, so success in this role requires someone who is comfortable with clear accountability, scorecards, data-driven decision-making, and executing against quarterly “Rocks.” Key KPIs: GMV growth, revenue, margin expansion, conversion rate, listing visibility (SEO), account health, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Marketplace Ownership and Growth Strategy: Owns end-to-end marketplace performance (GMV, revenue, margin, growth). Develops and executes marketplace strategies across eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and Poshmark. Drives marketplace SEO and listing optimization to increase visibility, traffic, and conversion. Identifies and launches new marketplace opportunities and channels. Partners with leadership on inventory aging, sell-through, and recovery strategies. Pricing, Promotions, and Revenue Optimization: Owns dynamic pricing and repricing strategies based on market trends, competition, and demand. Plans and executes promotions, special events, and marketplace campaigns. Continuously optimizes pricing models and promotional strategies to maximize GMV and margin. Performance Analytics & Reporting: Tracks and reports on core ecommerce KPIs (GMV, conversion rate, traffic, AOV, margin, defect rates). Leverage advanced Excel to analyze large datasets. Builds and maintains scorecards aligned with EOS principles. Translates data into clear, actionable insights and growth strategies. Marketplace Operation & Execution Oversight: Leads offshore teams responsible for listing execution, catalog updates, and operational workflows. Ensures execution aligns with strategy and meets quality and performance standards. Manage large-scale product catalogs across multiple platforms. Account Health, Compliance & Risk Management: Own account health metrics. Proactively manage policy violations, suspensions, and platform risks. Establish and enforce customer service standards for marketplace channels. Advertising & Marketplace Marketing: Own promoted listings, sponsored ads, and marketplace strategies. Optimize visibility, ROAS, and conversion performance across platforms. Vendor & Platform Relationships: Build and manage relationships with marketplace partners (eBay, Amazon, TikTok, etc.). Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and new features. Responsible or leading offshore execution teams and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications Education/ Experience : 4-7+ years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace growth, or digital commerce. Proven success managing large-scale catalogs and multi-channel eCommerce operations. Hands-on experience with eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and Poshmark. Experience with ChannelAdvisor / Rithum (preferred but not required). Experience operating within an EOS/Traction environment strongly preferred. Skills and Ability : Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling, reporting). Strong understanding of: Marketplace SEO and listing optimization Pricing strategy and repricing tools Conversion rate optimization (CRO) Experience managing large datasets and high-SKU catalogs. Work Conditions/ Physical Demands: This position is performed primarily in a remote, home‑office environment. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, including the use of standard office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, and phone. The employee must be able to communicate effectively via video, phone, and electronic communication. Minimal physical exertion is required. Travel : Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs (up to 10%). Pay & Benefits : Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this position is $62,300 to $77,900 annually. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.
