About the position
- Responsibilities
- Maintain and install electrical systems and equipment as specified by supervision or Senior Electrician.
- Inspect circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repair or rewire system according to building codes and safety regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment in the plant.
- Assist in the training of equal or less Senior Electricians.
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and Analog signals.
- Setup VFDs and troubleshoot alarm codes.
- Maintain all assigned work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a Manufacturing Environment in an electrician role.
- Ability to read simple ladder logic and a variety of blueprints.
- Familiar with HMI computers and comfortable with troubleshooting high voltage equipment (600V).
