WHO WE ARE:
We are looking for an experienced email marketing specialist to take ownership of the email channel for a growing DTC brand selling personalized Christian books (physical) and a companion digital app in the US market.
Email already plays an important role in our revenue streams, but the system was built early and needs restructuring, optimization and scaling. We want someone who can balance long-term strategic direction (infrastructure, reference/benchmark, vision) with hands-on and ongoing execution.
This is an ongoing, part-time role where success is measured primarily by increasing the % of total revenue generated from email marketing.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audit and improve existing email infrastructure (currently MailerLite; migration possible if justified)
- Redesign and optimize automation flows: abandoned cart, failed payment, onboarding / welcome, retention & winback, etc.
- Plan and execute campaign calendar (broadcast emails)
- Propose and test new lifecycle ideas, offers and messaging angles
- Align email communication with paid acquisition content (Meta ads)
- Segment audiences and personalize communication
- Improve deliverability, engagement and conversion metrics
- Continuously experiment and report learnings
You will collaborate closely with our performance marketing and creative team.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Proven experience owning email marketing for DTC, e-commerce brands or info products
- Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and retention strategy
- Ability to independently propose ideas and run experiments
- Experience optimizing revenue from email, not just open rates
- Experience with US audiences
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment

- Experience in wellness, education, books or info products
- Experience with senior audiences
- Experience working alongside paid acquisition teams
