Role Description
This is a part time remote role for an Embedded AI Systems and Full Stack Engineer that may transition into a full time role upon funding.
In Phase 1 the engineer will develop and stabilize scalable front end and back end systems that power the AskMAE.ai generator platform. Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating artificial intelligence APIs, debugging systems, and ensuring reliable performance across the software stack.
In Phase 2 the role expands into embedding the software platform into hardware products and edge AI environments as the company begins developing physical AI enabled systems.
The engineer will collaborate with cross functional teams, participate in architecture planning, and help translate complex system concepts into working technology solutions.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Back End Web Development, Front End Development, and Full Stack Development using PHP, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, and PyTorch.
Strong experience in software engineering principles including system architecture, debugging, performance optimization, and clean code practices.
Experience with Cascading Style Sheets and building responsive web interfaces.
Experience integrating APIs, artificial intelligence services, and database driven applications.
Ability to design and implement scalable software systems and participate in collaborative remote development environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, embedded systems, robotics software, or edge AI deployment is a plus.
