Reporting to the Laboratory Manage<strong>r,</strong> you will contribute to the day-to-day operation of the lab in Raynes Park, London while ensuring patient-centered care, scientific excellence and compliance.</p><p>You will also support the continuous improvement of lab practices and may be involved in training, audits and quality initiatives as directed. Including but not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Apply and maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to cleanroom protocols and cleaning procedures</li><li>Prepare culture dishes, tubes and media for use in assisted conception procedures</li><li>Accurately complete and maintain all required laboratory documentation</li><li>Use the laboratory database to record, track, and analyse relevant information</li><li>Perform semen analysis and sperm preparation techniques for assisted conception</li><li>Carry out sperm cryopreservation (freezing) procedures</li><li>Assist with oocyte collection and culture processes</li><li>Undertake training in Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) if not already competent</li><li>Observe and assess fertilisation outcomes</li><li>Evaluate and score embryo morphology in line with clinical and regulatory guidelines</li><li>Perform embryo transfer procedures under supervision or as per competency</li><li>Conduct embryo vitrification and warming using established protocols</li><li>Participate in external quality control schemes to ensure high laboratory standards</li><li>Safely handle and change gas cylinders in line with safety procedures</li><li>Manage laboratory stock, including batch control and ordering of consumables</li><li>Communicate effectively with laboratory colleagues and the wider clinic team</li><li>Adhere to Health and Safety protocols, including COSHH regulations</li><li>Demonstrate understanding of risk management, including the reporting of accidents and near misses</li><li>Apply correct manual handling techniques in daily laboratory operations</li><li>Understand and comply with the regulatory role of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA).</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Masters level education or equivalent with a preference for a related field</li><li>Significant senior operational leadership experience in large healthcare providers</li><li>Verifiable track record performance, financial, and quality improvements</li><li>Competence in managing large teams and financial budgets across multiple locations</li></ul><p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p><p>We value our team and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:</p><ul><li>25 days’ annual leave plus your birthday off, with additional holiday awarded for each full year of service (up to 30 days total)</li><li>Perkbox membership – offering discounts on retail, cinema, dining and more,</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Cycle to Work scheme</li><li>Private healthcare coverage with Vitality</li><li>Life insurance – equivalent to 4x your annual salary</li><li>Season ticket loan</li><li>Discounted IVF treatment after 2 years of continuous service</li></ul></div> #J-18808-Ljbffr
