This is a remote position
- We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE):Language combinations:
- English (US) to Karen (KAR) Specializations:
- Human Resources, Healthcare, Technical - specific knowledge ==> US market Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.
+ CAT experience
- For MT Post-editing:Other requirements
- Experience in Post-editing Machine Translation.
- Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies
- CAT experience (memoQ).
- Skills:Experience in evaluating Post-edited material:
- Post-editing Quality: fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence
