About the Role We're looking for a delivery-focused Engineering Manager to lead two teams that share a common trait: they work horizontally across the entire Hostaway platform rather than owning a single vertical domain. The Mobile team (4 engineers) owns our React Native app, bringing the full power of Hostaway to property managers on the go. Your focus will be driving feature parity with our web platform and delivering the performance users expect from a native experience.

The Customer Delight team (1-3 engineers) acts as engineering's "special forces" - solving urgent, high-visibility issues and delivering cross-cutting improvements that customers feel every day. From platform-wide UX polish to automation that reduces support burden, this team makes Hostaway better everywhere. Both teams require a leader who can context-switch across domains, coordinate with multiple product areas, and drive impact without owning a single bounded problem space. You'll guide engineers through ambiguity, ensure quality delivery across diverse initiatives, and build a culture of ownership and customer focus.

What you’ll do: • Lead two product engineering teams with a clear focus on delivery, ownership, and customer impact. • Drive mobile app priorities around feature parity and performance, ensuring a best-in-class experience for property managers. • Guide the Customer Delight team in identifying and resolving friction points across the platform. • Ensure both teams deliver high-quality software on time, with scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture. • Support engineers through mentorship, coaching, and career development - helping each person grow and succeed.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Support, and other Engineering teams to align on goals and ensure successful execution. • Foster a team culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Establish and refine engineering processes that improve delivery speed, system reliability, and team autonomy. • Partner with the Director of Engineering and other Engineering Leaders to shape org-wide practices and performance standards.
