Experienced English as a Second Language Teachers to teach Adult Group Classes

Availability to teach English as a second language to immigrant adults ( 90 minute classes). The right candidates will teach level 1 classes on Thursdays at MARIETTA SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY (MSGA)or MARIETTA MIDDLE SCHOOL (MMS)
Available to teach English from 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m each class.
24 week commitment from September 5th to early May. Thursdays.
Flexibility and reliability is a must.
Must be able to work independently to ensure proper class preparation.
Must be able to create and maintain an engaging, exciting, and welcoming classroom environment. Have a passion for working with limited English proficient adults.
Must be able to follow set curriculum. Teaching materials provided.
Must be able to have own transportation.
You need to be absolutely dependable and be a team player.
Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese or both desired.
Passion to work with immigrant communities is a must.

Preference will be given to individuals with past experience teaching ESL to adults. Certified candidates and Retired teachers are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
