Position Overview We are seeking an ambitious, detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join our Advanced Innovation Group as a remote team member. This entry‑level role is designed for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who are eager to apply data‑driven problem solving to real‑world aviation challenges. You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—including software engineers, product managers, business analysts, and senior leadership—to extract, cleanse, visualize, and communicate data that drives strategic decisions across arenaxflex’s digital ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Data Acquisition & Integration : Gather data from multiple sources (application logs, telemetry streams, operational databases, third‑party APIs) and build reliable pipelines that feed into arenaxflex’s Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. Data Exploration & Insight Generation : Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and performance patterns related to system reliability, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Dashboard Development : Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI (or comparable) dashboards that provide senior leaders with clear, actionable visualizations of key performance indicators (KPIs). Reporting & Documentation : Produce concise, data‑rich reports for product owners, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders, translating technical findings into business‑focused recommendations. Collaboration & Communication : Partner with software development, product, and customer experience teams to understand data requirements, propose enhancements, and champion data‑driven decision making. SQL & Data Modeling : Write efficient SQL queries, develop data models, and maintain data dictionaries that ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting tools. Quality Assurance : Validate data quality, implement monitoring controls, and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to maintain high‑integrity datasets. Continuous Learning : Stay current on industry best practices in BI, data engineering, and cloud analytics, and share knowledge with peers through brown‑bag sessions and internal wiki contributions. Mentorship & Leadership Support : Assist senior analysts and managers by preparing executive‑level presentations, tracking project milestones, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Essential Qualifications (Must‑Haves) Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical discipline. Experience : Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields, including at least 3 years within a Fortune 500 environment or similarly complex organization. Technical Proficiency : Advanced expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or TIBCO Spotfire for creating rich, interactive dashboards. Strong SQL skills (writing complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, AWS Redshift). Analytical Acumen : Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions, identify root causes, and propose actionable improvements. Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication, with experience presenting technical findings to senior executives (MD, VP level). Eligibility : Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
