Position Overview The Remote Pharmacy Data Entry & Patient Support Associate is an entry‑level, work‑from‑home role focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences while ensuring strict compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. You will be the digital front line for customers seeking medication guidance, immunizations, testing, and other health services. This position offers immediate hiring for motivated individuals ready to start a career in pharmacy operations without prior experience. Key Responsibilities Patient Interaction & Support Greet patients virtually, answer product and service inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly. Provide medication counseling—including uses, side‑effects, interactions, generic alternatives, and over‑the‑counter options. Proactively anticipate patient needs and offer relevant health services such as immunizations, symptom testing, and results delivery. Prescription Processing & Verification Accurately enter prescription data into Talentra’s pharmacy management system. Perform compounding, dispensing, and medication verification tasks while adhering to all regulatory standards. Execute controlled‑substance checks and maintain compliance with state and federal drug‑distribution policies. Operational Excellence Support the Pharmacy Manager in streamlining workflow, delegating tasks, and planning shift activities. Participate in opening, closing, and shift‑change procedures, ensuring seamless handoffs. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and contribute ideas for efficiency improvements. Clinical Services Delivery Administer immunizations and conduct point‑of‑care testing according to Flexoraq protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of clinical services and ensure patient records are up‑to‑date. Community & Partner Relations Develop and nurture relationships with local healthcare providers, labs, and community organizations. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain precision in data entry. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a patient‑centric attitude. Basic familiarity with pharmacy software or willingness to quickly learn Skillvoraq’s platforms. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, including prescription filling and verification. Certification as an immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days of employment. Experience conducting point‑of‑care testing and handling confidential health information.
