Professional Engineers, and Designers across different disciplines Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed Communicate structural requirements on paper and in the model with Designers Manage your own workload and meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with a clear emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Excellent communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
This position is considered project site/hybrid and may require you to work in the local office, at a project site, or from your home (within approximately 50 miles of site) Internet service with a MINIMUM speed of 25Mbps download/10Mbps upload as required to effectively meet project performance requirements (higher internet speed is recommended) Sponsorship is not available for this position MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering Previous relevant internship experience in Structural Engineering, preferably with experience analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC Benefits Medical Dental Vision Basic life insurance 401(k) plan
