Salary: $65,000 - $90,000+/year, Depending on Experience Job Overview: Sierra Architectural Products is seeking a highly skilled Division 8 Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed bolthires estimates for doors, frames, hardware, and related architectural products for residential, commercial, and government projects.

Responsibilities: • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to identify materials, labor, and scope. • Utilize estimation software and maintain updated records for all bid documentation.
• Prepare detailed bolthires estimates for Division 8 products (doors, frames, and hardware) for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and government. • Provide value engineering suggestions to improve efficiency and bolthires-effectiveness. • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and competitive pricing. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners. • Detail projects to prepare for procurement • Participate in pre-bid meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope.
• Stay up to date with market trends, material costs, and advancements in construction technology. • Draft detailed proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Qualifications: • Proven experience in Division 8 estimating is required. • Experience with Pro-Tech Titan preferred. • Strong knowledge of hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum frames, timely and wood frames as well as hardware specifications, materials, and installation processes. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and general computer applications, including bolthires Office. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • A commitment to continuous learning and process improvement. Work Schedule: • Full-Time, remote. • Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm PST. Work Location: • Remote/ WFH • Travel to project sites as required, with provided per diem.
