- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fountain Valley, CA. As a key member of our Accounts Payable department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner, and performing various administrative tasks. - *Key Responsibilities**
As an Accounts Payable Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing prompt and courteous customer service to all internal and external customers, responding to phone calls, and email requests for assistance
- Using critical thinking to research, review, and follow-up on all Accounts Payable requests
- Identifying issues in a timely manner and initiating appropriate actions to resolve problems or issues
- Opening and distributing the mail that arrives in the Accounts Payable department daily
- Scanning and validating invoices into OnBase within 24 hours of receiving the invoices
- Assisting in reviewing the check register for accuracy and mailing of checks after each check pay cycle
- Compiling accurate and timely data for month and year-end accruals
- Maintaining a positive and constructive attitude, interacting with colleagues in a professional manner, and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Working from home (WFH) 2 days a week after completing training
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of one year's customer service experience, preferably in accounts payable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office applications, and an aptitude for learning new software
- A can-do attitude and positive customer response style
- Understanding of Purchasing needs and functionality
- 10-Key by touch and keyboarding skills
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and procedures
- Familiarity with OnBase or similar document management systems
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- *Education**
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Business-related courses or a degree in a related field are highly desirable.
