Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Actuarial Development Program Analyst to. Key Responsibilities Participate in a comprehensive development program, designed to foster your actuarial skills, business acumen, and leadership abilities Contribute to various business areas, including risk evaluation, rate recording, reserve analysis, planning, and pricing Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions and drive results Develop and maintain technical expertise in actuarial methods, tools, and systems, including proficiency in software applications such as SAS, Python, Excel, VBA, SQL, or R Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical support, analysis, and recommendations to inform business strategies and initiatives Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our actuarial practices Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline Strong academic record, with a willingness to pursue professional certifications and ongoing education in actuarial science Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in bolthires Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data analysis and programming languages Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Internship or work experience in an actuarial or related field, with a focus on data analysis, risk management, or business operations Demonstrated leadership experience, such as active roles in student or social organizations, sports, or community activities Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience with data visualization tools, programming languages, or other technical skills relevant to the actuarial field Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, with a mix of office-based and remote work arrangements
