This role requires a strong skillset in customer service, communication, and problem-solving, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints. If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering outstanding service, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** * Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner over the phone and in person * Announce both incoming and outbound flights * Handle credit card and personal check transactions with accuracy and properly account for all collections and conduct the appropriate airline close out procedures * Accept and process checked baggage weighing up to 100 lbs. and placed on conveyor belts * Operate jetways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors * Use airline computer systems to provide flight arrival and departure information, ticketing and flight boarding documents, lost or damaged baggage documentation, and cargo tracking information * Stand and work in one location for up to four hours at a time * Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport * Work independently without direct supervision **Requirements** * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, and a high degree of attention to detail * Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language * Ability to stand for long periods of time * Must possess good communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality in person and via telephone * Possess entry-level computer skills * Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds * Pass an extensive post-offer pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal history record check required by federal law * Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays **Essential Qualifications** * 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field * Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Familiarity with airline computer systems and procedures **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in an airport or airline environment * Knowledge of airport operations and procedures * Bilingual or multilingual skills * Experience working with unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent customer service skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints * Proficient in airline computer systems and procedures * Ability to lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
