- *Responsibilities and Duties**
As an AR/AP Bookkeeping Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:
- Maintaining the organization of client files, including login information, out-of-office responders, and date-stamped mail
- Preparing checks for depositing at banks and entering data into Excel spreadsheets
- Organizing and filing paperwork, matching checks to bills, and sending email reminders
- Updating distribution lists and scanning documents into the computer using Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the office and providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests
- Utilizing multiple monitors to efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities
- Entering AR/AP data for clients using QuickBooks Online, Desktop, or Bill.com
- *Qualifications and Skills**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper Assistant, Office Assistant, or Receptionist
- Bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience is a plus, and will help advance your career quickly
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and Payable is also a plus
- Excellent social skills, attention to detail, and strong spelling and grammar skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly
