As a dedicated Associate on our member-facing team, you'll serve as the front line of support for our members, acting as a trusted guide in helping them understand and navigate their healthcare benefits. You'll engage directly with members through phone, chat, and email to help them access the highest-quality care at the lowest possible cost. Your work will be a key part of delivering on arenaflex's mission, and we're looking for someone who can thrive in an evolving environment and is comfortable with complexity. **Responsibilities:** * Deliver exceptional member support via phone, chat, and email, providing clear and concise information about their healthcare benefits and how to maximize their arenaflex benefit * Educate members on their healthcare benefits, including how to navigate the system and access the best care available to them * Help steer members to find the best care available to them, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances * Handle complex and sensitive conversations with professionalism, empathy, and patience, deescalating members who are experiencing friction with their benefit * Work with other departments to address cross-departmental issues and identify opportunities for improvement * Identify and escalate feedback from member interactions to internal teams, helping to drive continuous improvement and growth * Stay up to date on evolving procedures and best practices, ensuring that you're always equipped to provide the highest level of support to our members * Protect member privacy and maintain compliance with HIPAA and data security protocols, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and security **Ideal Candidate:** * Minimum 2 years of call center/customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and support * Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with members from diverse backgrounds and cultures * Healthcare experience preferred, but not required – we're looking for someone who is passionate about healthcare and committed to delivering high-quality care to all * Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all interactions with members * A proactive and curious problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving environment * An openness to feedback and a commitment to doing better every day, with a focus on continuous improvement and growth * Technical proficiency with customer service platforms, such as Zendesk, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies * A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment and adapt quickly to change, with a focus on innovation and growth **What We Look For at arenaflex:** * Mission First: Our mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high-quality and affordable care to all.
