As a remote employee, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Job Overview** As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Responding to inbound 800-line calls and completing outbound support calls to assist beneficiaries with healthcare plan enrollment and disenrollment * Maintaining updated knowledge of the HCO program, including its policies and procedures * Assisting beneficiaries with medical exemptions and waiver inquiries * Providing beneficiaries with status updates on enrollment, disenrollment, medical exemptions, and waivers * Meeting production and quality assurance goals as defined for this position * Performing other duties as assigned by management **Essential Job Duties** * Respond to inbound 800-line calls and complete outbound support calls to assist beneficiaries with healthcare plan enrollment and disenrollment * Assist beneficiaries by completing enrollment transaction request transactions, as applicable * Maintain updated knowledge of the HCO program, including its policies and procedures as referenced in the employee manual and other policies adopted by corporate, the project and/or client and as referenced in desk procedures for the position * Maintain knowledge of contract compliance provisions of the project and meet those provisions that are applicable to this job position * Follow policies and procedures applicable to the position * Maintain updated knowledge of managed care plans that are available to beneficiaries in their service area * Assist beneficiaries in enrolling/disenrolling in managed care plans * Assist beneficiaries with medical exemptions and waiver inquiries * Provide beneficiaries with status of enrollment/disenrollment, medical exemptions, and waivers * Meet Production and Quality Assurance goals as defined for this position * Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria * Provide backup to the forms processing and research functions in Central Operations at minimum quality standards as specified for a Forms Processor and a Research Analyst level * Perform other duties as may be assigned by management **Qualifications / Requirements** * Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification * Experience: One year of experience in the field or related area * Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software programs * Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and meet quality and production standards set for the position or equivalent * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment * Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously * Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently * Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software programs **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a health or human services field dealing with the public in a call center environment * Bilingual fluency in English and one of the following languages: Armenian, Cambodian, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Tagalog, Thai, Spanish, Laotian, and Vietnamese **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
