As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in responding to borrowers via different digital communication channels, collecting past due payments, and providing appropriate payment solutions to cure borrower's delinquency. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Bilingual Digital Collections Specialist (Live Chat & Email), your primary responsibilities will include: * Communicating with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels, including live chat and email * Finding solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status * Processing payments for borrowers with past due payments * Maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals * Maintaining records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers, as well as records of any payments collected from the customer **Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools * Excellent written communication skills * Prior experience with financial products preferred * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications * Self-motivation and a strong goal-oriented mindset * Team player with a professional demeanor * Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, experience with the following would be beneficial: * Recent experience using live chat to assist customers * Familiarity with financial software and systems * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment **Benefits and Perks** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: * Competitive hourly rate of $18.00 per hour * Opportunities for advancement and career growth * Paid sick time and paid time off * Paid training and professional development * Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance * Work-from-home flexibility **Work Schedule and Location** This is a full-time remote position, with expected working hours of 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
