Border Patrol Agents enjoy various federal benefits, including health and insurance plans, a generous leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.</p> <p><b>Incentives:</b></p> <p>New agents can receive:</p> <ul> <li><b>Recruitment Incentive:</b> Up to $20,000, with $10,000 upon completing the Border Patrol Academy and the remainder for accepting a prioritized location.</li> <li><b>Retention Incentive:</b> Up to $40,000 distributed over four years.</li> </ul> <p><b>Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p> <p>Your role as a Border Patrol Agent is vital in protecting the American populace.
